Tree and candelabra

A. arborescens is the candelabra shrub. A. ferox is a large cape landscape plant. Hercules is a tree form that will not stay on a sill.

Is lace aloe an aloe?

Yes on a shop tag. It is the compact lace rosette. Some lists now file it under Aristaloe; the garden job is still a small pot.

Match mature size before you plant. A gel plant and a tree aloe are not the same pot.

FAQ

Are extra shop names extra plants?

Often no. Pink Blush, Christmas Carol, Blue Elf, and similar tags are cultivars in the same size jobs. Read the mature width.

Why does a tag say Aloidendron?

Some tree aloes were moved in the botany lists. Shop tags still sell them as aloe. Grow them as tree forms, not as vera.

How many aloe kinds are there?

Hundreds of species exist. This page is eight garden jobs from the catalog, not an encyclopedia of 20 photos.

Is climbing aloe the same plant?

No. Climbing aloe is a different genus on most tags now. It is not in this catalog. Do not copy that vine onto a rosette.
