Succulents

Garden succulents — hub image

Succulents store water in thick leaves or stems. This list is every plant tagged that way in the library, from garden yuccas to windowsill rosettes.

Open a profile for light, mix, and how dry the plant actually wants to be. A desert agave and a jungle succulent do not take the same care.

When a succulent is the right form

  1. You need a plant that stores water in the tissue, not a thin-leaved perennial.
  2. Match the profile’s light and drainage.
  3. Cactus-like plants sit here only when we tagged them succulent — check the profile.
