Griselinia is usually planted as a pot-grown hedge. Set each plant at the same depth it grew in the nursery pot, 12 to 24 inches from the next stem if you want a screen up to about 6 feet. Leave up to 30 inches for a taller screen. [1] Pick a coastal bed, or a spot with afternoon shade inland, then dig a hole as deep as the root ball and a little wider.
