Wisteria is a woody flowering vine, not a food crop — see How to Grow Wisteria. Glycine on a vitamin bottle is an amino acid, not this plant. If the tag says Glycine max and the seed is a hairy soybean, you still have edamame.
Is edamame a green bean?
No. Garden beans are Phaseolus. Edamame is Glycine max, a soybean picked green.

FAQ
Can I plant edamame next to corn?
It is a bush soybean in a sunny summer bed, not a pole bean for a three-sisters trellis. Leave a season before you sow garden beans or peas in the same strip.
Will it come back next year?
No. Frost kills the top. Save dry seed from an open-pollinated plant if you want another crop, or buy fresh vegetable soybean seed.
Why are the leaves yellow with green veins?
That is often iron chlorosis in alkaline soil. A chelated iron product between the rows can green the new leaves. Soggy soil is a different problem.
Is White Gram a different plant?
